De-lurking

So I got my email notice yesterday that my automatic LJ payment went through and it hit me: I haven't posted a blessed thing since September.

Well that won't do. Not at all.

My only real excuse is the new house is keeping me pretty busy. (Seriously, this winter was not the ideal time to become a first-year homeowner! The perpetual daily shoveling was starting to feel like Groundhog Day.) Most of my online fun has been hit-or-miss in the stolen moments that I actually get to sit down. But I'm still around, really! And with any luck, I'll get back into the habit of posting more often again in the near future.

I hope all is well with my flist!

Thanks, hon! It's been sucking up all of my time, but I do love it. (Had to post a photo from last spring, though. If I posted one the way it looks now - with the barren trees and all the still-melting snow in my front yard - it wouldn't be nearly as pretty!)

Hee! For a moment I forgot that Photobucket links to the entire album now instead of just the main picture. Those are all the listing photos with the previous owners' stuff in them. I suppose I'll have to get around to taking some pictures of my own soon! :)

Happy belated birthday!! And congrats on the new house! I also recently realized much belatedly that you wrote a follow up to "Rain" that I haven't even read!!! I will be doing that soon :) Have you been on Ao3 at all? I'm thinking of posting some fic there.

Thank you, Misty! Yes, taking care of the house has been more of a time drain than I thought it would be - especially with our winter in the Northeast being so terrible this year. But I'm hoping to get back into more of an online routine. Yes, I am on Ao3, though most of my stories haven't been posted there yet. Doing so would probably be a good way to get back into fandom fun, so maybe I'll start working on that!
