Seems I'm Developing a Peeve

sharelleI've been on Fanfiction.Net a lot more than usual recently. (I go through phases over there. But I have been writing a bit of new fic lately, so there it is.)
But UGH! Why are there so many people on that site who insist on treating their FF.N profile like a blog page?
Seriously!
By the time I scroll down what feels like miles of self-surveys, favorite pairings, quiz results (!), and other mind-numbing personal information (One member even detailed a fight she'd had with her mother!), I've completely forgotten why I clicked on their profile to begin with!
It's a profile, people! Keep it simple and short. If you want a blog, get an LJ. Something that allows cut-tags, for goodness sake! *headdesk*
