30 Days of Fanfic - Day 29

29 – What is your current project or projects?

Well, if you're hanging out on my LJ, you've probably seen my recent obsession with Megamind, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise that my latest project is rooted squarely in that fandom. Chapter 10 of Rain on the Just is forthcoming (In fact, my beta has it now.), and the remaining chapter(s) is/are being written. (Though the school year, as usual, takes a big chunk out of my writing time.)

I do still have several D&DC ideas as well. Some are actually partially written, too. I just haven't had the inspiration to continue yet. (I'm sure I will, though. D&DC is the one fandom I'll probably never quit!)

I can't believe that I don't remember D&DC. I love cartoons from the 70's and 80's! Especially obscure ones. Even tho I have a few years on you, I was easily still watching cartoons when this was on. hmph.

It was probably easy to miss - it only lasted 2 and a half seasons. I really liked it as a kid, but I didn't love it (in the "I'll-write-fic-for-it" sense) until I was in my 20s. It wasn't until then (when it re-aired on Fox) that I realized it was actually kind of dark for a Saturday morning cartoon.

hehheh. And really, it wasn't as dark as it *could* have been, since it was a Saturday morning cartoon [Venger could probably actually say "kill you!!!" if it wasn't a Saturday morning cartoon. hee]. ^_^ It really is amazing what they got away with, though.

Oh, definitely not as dark as it could have been! (Though Hank got a little closer to "I Kill You!" than even Venger did!)

Gawd I wish they did sell it on e-bay. I'd buy LOTS. Although knowing my luck, it'd be well out of my price range. XD
