OMG!!! Sawyer and Miles, Buddy Cops!!! This was by far the best episode in a while! (The episodes are always good when they still have the ability to get a really good unanticipated twist in there!)

The Charlotte cameo was also very cool, if short-lived. Sawyer still has a very short fuse, apparently.

On the other hand, Sayid is clearly going nuts. The way he just sat there and stared while Claire attacked Kate? Yeesh!


In unrelated news, LJ must be doing some odd remodeling. Not only are a lot of the menus different, but just about every virtual gift I've ever received is suddenly back on display on my userinfo page. Cool, but strange.

Oooh! And suddenly all the little shortcut buttons are so big and cartoon-y! Weird!

I think I could watch an entire episode of just Miles and Sawyer being buddy cops together. They may be my new OTP.

I was all over the Sideways story this week. And poor little Claire. :((( Woe.

They are! It almost seems as though certain characters' "awesome factor" increases exponentially the closer they get with Sawyer. I hated Juliet for the longest time. But the minute she partnered up with Sawyer, I really started to like her. Furthermore, I was meh about Miles when he first appeared. Get him together with Sawyer and it's suddenly the Best. Bromance. Ever!

Seriously -- Sawyer ups the coolness factor of any character on Lost. It's scientifically proven! :)

I have a similar theory about awesomeness that it's actually inversely proportionate to closeness to Jack. He sucks them in with his douchiness. Only Hurley and Ben appear to be immune to the douchey-by-proxy. Even Sawyer becomes kinda jerky when him and Jack are doing their little Alpha Male displays around Kate and Juliet.

I loved Miles from the start. He's a Grumpy Exorcist with a teeny-tiny beard! What's not to love!

Poor Dr. Jack! I'm probably one of the few who always liked him, but even I can't deny the souring effect he seems to have on other characters.
