More D&DC Art Posters

It's funny that I don't seem to have the inspiration or the patience to do these for my own stories! (Hee!)
This set is for
r_scribbles, because she's written one of the most captivating D&DC epics I've read in a while. I still owe you feedback through Episode 6, but I couldn't resist making these first! This particular one is for That Same Old Magic, because I thought the screencaps I made went particularly well with that one.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I'm enjoying your story, sweetie! *hugs*

Date: 2005-10-09 06:11 pm (UTC)And it's such a cool story too! - I think ch8 is my fav so far.
BTW I have put the Temple of Loves ones up at tVR over the weekend, in the fan art section. Meant to ask - which name and email should I put for feedback?

Date: 2005-10-09 08:47 pm (UTC)I'm so glad you put your poster up! Yay! And I'm glad you liked it.
The email addie I use for fandom stuff is NLRummi (at) gmail (dot) com. I've always gone by Amy Rummi in the D&D fandom (or just "Rummi" is fine too). I use a different handle around here because a number of my students have LJs and I don't want to leave them too many breadcrumbs to follow. :)

Date: 2005-10-09 11:18 pm (UTC)Let's face it, Princess Bride Rules should always apply. Once you've said 'I Do', there's no backing out!

Date: 2005-10-09 11:39 pm (UTC)Sounds like it gives me something really interesting to look forward to, though!
(And, hee! I *heart* the Princess Bride! *G*)

Date: 2005-10-10 05:05 pm (UTC)Ch 7... Ah, yes, the joy of prose. Shall be returning to that in Ch 10, especially pour vous, Lady.
SO COOL!!!!!
Date: 2005-10-09 07:26 pm (UTC)I love it! Thank you so much, babes!
Having just spent an otherwise lovely Sunday being booted off broken double decker buses in East London and nearly run over by stolen ones in Canters (long and scary story!) that has just totally made my day! The poster is fab and if and I may (and if I can find out how...) I'd like to put it in the Art section of m'site.
Yeah, Wee Presto's looking pretty hardcore there. I do like the end of ...Magic, what with his little heart to heart chat with The Big V. One of my favourite moments, although I think my favourite bits so far are the prison break from When One Door Closes (classic combo of E/D flirtation and Comedy Nuns) and Hank's Alien/Die Hard moments in Knight OTLD, although Zinn's Cavalier Abuse is growing on me! Glad you're enjoying them, chaps. More fun will follow eventually, promise!
Thanks again, hunbun *hugs her new art to herself*

Re: SO COOL!!!!!
Date: 2005-10-09 08:59 pm (UTC)I was going to do "One Door Closes." (I loved the E/D . . . and you wouldn't *believe* how long I spent online looking for just the right nun images!) But when I ran across this picture of Presto from "Night of No Tomorrow," I thought it was perfect for "Magic." (Note the lack of hat!)
Please feel free to use it on your website! I made it for you do use as you wish. (FYI: I included a few inside jokes in the small print, too -- even though you can't read them . . . And also starring Venger as "Burkle Whitewood." Hee!)
Again, I'm so happy you like them, sweetie!
Re: SO COOL!!!!!
Date: 2005-10-09 11:12 pm (UTC)How cool that you found such a good Hardcore Presto shot from so early in the series... he still had a long way to go back then. Bravo on the Hat Lackage.
Heh heh... didn't spot the Berkle Whitewood bit... let's face it, if *that* were your real name, you'd change it too!

Date: 2005-10-10 01:14 pm (UTC)It's not for anything in particular; just for fun! :)
ALSO COOL!!!!!
Date: 2005-10-10 05:01 pm (UTC)Shall definately nick the E/D wonderment :D I knew it couldn't refer to one of my stories... it's way too clean! Out of curiosity, what does OTP stand for? Is it one of these Internet Shorthand thingies that I still can't get the hang of (strike another one up for Little Miss Luddite...)
Thanks to this, I shall definately try not to walk under any more stolen buses for at least... say... a week.

Re: ALSO COOL!!!!!
Date: 2005-10-10 07:03 pm (UTC)Don't worry; I didn't know what "OTP" was for a while, though I used to see it all over. I finally had to ask as well. Apparently, in various fandoms, it stands for "One True Pairing" - basically your favorite relationship on a particular show. (Whether it actually exists or not. *G*)
I've seen funny variations of it too -- like "OT3." For example, one might say, "On D&D, my favorite OT3 is Hank/Eric/Venger! TheirloveissoGreek-style-harem!"
See? :)
