Post-Thanksgiving Thankfulness

Well, it's two days past Thanksgiving and I am still feeling thankful.  Therefore, I shall now wax gratefully with a list:

•  Over the last few days, I've seen this in several places.  I'm posting it here too, because it is quite true:
  
  If there is at least one person in your life who you consider a close friend, and who you would not have met without being part of an online fandom, post this sentence in your journal.
  


•  My flist has gotten a bit bigger over the last several days, for which I am very surprised and happy!  (Welcome to my most recent, hurry_sundown, sunshine18, and aagiel!)  If you're here for the fic, rest assured that I am hard at work so that I might give you something to look at very soon!  If you have any interest in my random ramblings as well, that's cool too!  Either way, very nice meeting you!
  


•  I'm especially grateful to speakr2customrs and bloodypoetry for giving me my first recs for my recent WIP.  Thanks again!  It truly means a lot!
  


•  To deathisyourart for making one of my wish list hopes come true by providing my new fantabulous Spanish teacher icon! *big hugs*
  


•  And in RL, I got to spend the entire day with Cortney and her family yesterday, which was great and which doesn't happen often with her living so far away.  (Her family, however, I see weekly since The Sensei is my stained glass instructor.  *G*)  We went to see the "Bridget Jones" sequel (Very, very cute and funny.  Not as great as the first one, but still worth watching.), then out for pizza and back to her parents' house for another movie ("The Terminal" - also very good).
  


• Today, I'll have several hours to myself, which means I should be able to get a fair amount of writing done.  Then, tonight, I'm getting together with my newlywed friends as well as my cousin.
