I actually think that the Destiny fight helped Spike put some of his Angel-related demons to rest. He seemed a lot more inclined to try to bug Angel to death than outright hostile after that point. But he also had some time for the victory (and the knowledge that they were being manipulated, which gave them some solidarity against a common enemy) to settle in. Here, he's transported directly from the fight to these new (or old) circumstances, so he hasn't had time to process the fight and his victory, I think. Plus, his beef really is more with Angelus than the Angel of S5.
Heh, I can see Spike who "knows all the answers" being almost a bigger liability than the one who does. For some of the reasons Wesley is describing in this chapter, but just b/c sometimes foreknowledge and the attempt to either avoid situations or allow them to happen can actually mess things up more. Always a problem with the time travel =).
