I can totally see why this chapter gave you trouble. This is incredibly powerful, and you've done . . . just wow!
There are so many things I want to praise - the tiny image of Minion's bothria (I didn't know those thingies had a name!) weakly squeezing Megamind's wrist as he revives is especially great - but there's just so much, I don't even know where to begin. I'm in awe, seriously.
And, once again, you've left me seriously unsure what's going to happen next. The fact that Minion's alive is a huge relief, but the situation is still incredibly dark and serious - "Spiraling" is an excellent title choice!
Oh, and I love your choice of "Angry Walking Music" too :D
(And in reply to your last reply, I hit kind of a block after the last chapter of "The Storm And The Stars", due to fretting about doing the scenes justice and just feeling creatively drained and needing a break from writing. Tumblr's helped me relax and get going again, though, and now I'm back at work - I hope to have Chapter 5 posted over the weekend, or early next week :) )
