Oh, I'm glad you're still eager to know what's coming! I admit, I was worried I may lose some people here. As I mentioned to Aura, that last scene was actually the first one I plotted out when I began writing this story, so I've known it was coming all along. But I also know where it goes from here. (And, no, I don't think it's sad to hope for a silver lining.)
Due to the wrenching nature of the chapter, it feels a little wrong to say I'm glad you enjoyed it. But to a writer, getting an emotional response like that is also very gratifying. I really hope you do enjoy what's to come, though! *hugs*
