I totally agree with all of this - nice summing-up! (And I would so love a buddy-cop series about Sawyer and Miles - two characters who just fit together so well!)
I thought the finale was tear-jerking in parts, mystifying in parts and although we were never going to get all the answers, it did a good job of closing the most important questions. Mostly, I think watching every episode of Lost for the last 6 years has been a hell of a visual ride and I'm glad to have seen it through to the end!
