JK Rowling has said repeatedly since at least the release of GoF that she's had the ending/book seven all planned out since the beginning, so I expect you're right and that she's had a good portion of book seven written down for ages, even if just in a series of notes or something.
I found out about the title while watching the six o'clock evening news, and I admit that I squeed and rushed into tell my rather uniterested mother (she's seen the movies and likes them well enough, but doesn't really have much time for reading anymore). I hope it will be a dark book. My only concern is that we may be left with many, many un answered questions or loose ends....how can she fit everything into one last book?
Sorry about your schools computers. I'd probably be very careful, too, I wouldn't want to risk getting in trouble over anything, however innocent.
