I can see why people enjoy writing these types of stories so much -- it's neat to focus on characterization from two completely different standpoints. (It's also fun to play with the ways other characters would react.)
Oh, and while I'd hoped to get more to you by the 15th, I'm going to be in the same boat as you, I'm afraid. The beginning of the school year is starting to crack down. (I've had two in-services already.) I'll probably spread out the rest of this chapter a bit, then get more to you near the end of September.
