I'd originally thought it would be spooky too. But laughing my head off through the entire thing certainly made it worth watching!
Then, as soon as the Warrens came into the picture, that was it! (They were in my area several years ago "investigating" the Smurl House. Even as a 10-year-old I knew to be amused by some of the stories coming out of that experience! It was in the paper almost every day!)
