Teaching Job Offer
My school district called just now to offer me a job.
MY job.
As in, the same job I've been doing for them for 6 years.
After I got off the phone with the (very embarrassed) personnel secretary, I couldn't help but wonder: I do still have a job, right?
Followed by: Why is my name still apparently on the hiring list?
And finally: At least they were trying to fill my position with me and not with someone else.
Most. Bizarre. Thing. Ever.

Wow, if that isn't more than a bit off-kilter. LOL
But hey, from the sound of things even if you lose your job, they want to hire you for your job, so you still have a job. Right? XD
