Hmmm...maybe Angel doesn't know Spike as well as he thinks he does, huh?

I had exactly the same thought. Angel's trying to project his own flaws onto Spike. Heehee. Spike, the cheeky bugger, has made a career out of asking for help -- and getting it -- from people who should have no inclination to give him the time of day. I love that about him -- it's so very against stereotype.

This is such fun to read. The pace is picking up nicely, and the humour and voices are just great.
