Deathly Hallows Cover Art

I was actually quite surprised to come home from work (late, no less) and see that no one on my flist had linked to the recently-released cover art for the 7th Harry Potter. (U.S. cover art, anyway.) So, whee! I'm never first for those types of things!

Therefore, in case your own flists haven't posted it yet, here's a look at Book 7! (As well as the full spread.)

I like that a lot better than the UK's version of the cover.

Though why does Harry always look like he has a cold in all of the promotional artwork?

For as much as I like the books, I've always felt the cover art was a bit on the juvenile side. (It doesn't quite match the dark subject matter. And yes, it is dark.)

That's why I wish they'd sell the adult editions on this side of the pond. That artwork has always been much more striking. (The U.S. artwork by Mary GrandPre is second IMO, though distantly.)
