Writing over hurdles

Ever come to a scene in your writing where you know exactly what is supposed to happen, and yet everything you write just sounds wrong?

Yeah, me too.

Which is why I'm so relieved that I actually managed to flesh something out that finally sounded semi-decent. It helped me get a few pages of "Out of Joint" written. It's hardly a whole chapter, but progress is progress, right? :)
